Several ways to get here
Trollhättan and Lidköping are both located in Western Sweden, South of Lake Vänern.
Flights from abroad:
GOTHENBURG:
The nearest international airports to the conference are in Gothenburg: Landvetter Airport is the
largest and also Gothenburg City Airport which is smaller. However, please note that if you are
coming from outside of Europe that there are not a large number of international flights coming into
either of these airports, and so you will likely need to take a connecting flight from another European
airport to Gothenburg (for example from Frankfurt, London, Paris, or Amsterdam).
Once arriving at Landvetter or Gothenburg City Airport you can then take the airport bus and/or train
(change in the centre of Gothenburg) to Trollhättan or Lidköping. Alternatively you can rent a car and
drive yourself, which takes approximately 1-1.5 hours.

STOCKHOLM:
You can also fly to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. On arrival you can then take a bus to Stockholm
Bromma Airport and fly directly to Trollhättan Airport by Golden Air (55 min). Alternatively you can
take the train from Stockholm Arlanda Airport and travel west across to Trollhättan or Lidköping
(about 3-4 hours).

COPENHAGEN: DENMARK
It is also possible to fly to Copenhagen in Denmark and from there you can take the train north, via
Gothenburg, which takes about 5-6 hours. If you are going to participate in the extra study tour on 1st
October then Copenhagen is a suitable place to fly to and from.
